Private Hire for Birthday Parties
On the final Saturday of every month from April to September a date is allocated to allow for parents to hire Ravensprings Park for their child's birthday party.
As there is such limited availability, it is best to contact us well in advance of your child's intended party date to avoid any disappointment.
What's Included
You are privately hiring the entirety of the site and have on site parking access (until just before the party), access to the clubhouse (which has a small kitchen for food preparation, a fridge, kettle, tables and chairs).
We will operate both railways for you to enjoy during your hire period.
If the weather is fine we also have some external chairs and tables which can be used in the event you want to move your guests outside from the clubhouse.
We do ask that you tidy the clubhouse after the party, removing any rubbish from site.

How Much Does it Cost
We charge £200 for the party - trains will run from 14:00 to 16:00 - you can access the site from 13:00 for any preparation work but must be ready to leave by 17:00

The large grounds include two tracks, a club house and grassed area which is ideal for picnics whilst also providing a safe area for children to play in between train rides.

We have limited on-site parking for pre-booked disabled visitors, members or visitors with locomotives.
Members of the public are requested to park on the road, but please park courteously so as not to inconvenience our neighbours.

Our 7 1/4” gauge track is well over 1000 ft long. It has a 2 platform station with passing loop, an additional diversionary loop and tunnel, all protected by a colour light signalling system.

Multiple gauge 2 1/2”, 3 1/2” & 5” gauges on an approx. 660 feet circular loop which operates the immediate perimeter of the grassed main area.

Our clubhouse will be entirely at your disposal. Feel free to decorate it for your party or use the kitchen to prepare hot snacks for your guests.
All we ask is you leave the clubhouse in the same state as you found it.
